PX18 el antecesor de Ableton Live
En 1995 Robert Henke y Gerhard Behles desarrollaron el secuenciador “PX18” para su proyecto techno Monolake. Este step sequencer terminó siendo el precursor de Ableton Live, cómo cuenta Peter Kirn en este artículo de CDM: "the PX18 is widely accepted as the spiritual and technical predecessor to Ableton Live. The ideas Monolake used as musicians had the PX18 as a testbed, and gave Gerhard and Robert a clear sense of what they wanted when they founded Ableton at the end of the same decade".
